Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and KYLETEACHESBASS LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), which runs kyleteachesbass.com (the “Site”). By creating an account or buying a course, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. Who You’re Buying From

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles checkout, payment, sales tax, receipts, and refunds, and provides customer service for billing questions. When you buy, you also agree to Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

Courses bought before we moved our checkout to Paddle were sold directly by us, with payments processed by Stripe. If your receipt came from us rather than Paddle, we handle billing questions and refunds for that order ourselves.

2. Prices and Taxes

Prices are shown in your local currency where available, and otherwise in US dollars. Depending on where you live, sales tax, VAT, or GST is either included in the price or added at checkout, and Paddle shows the total before you pay. Each course is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. We may change prices for future purchases; a price change never affects a course you have already bought.

3. Your Account

• You need an account to buy and watch courses. Please give us an email address you can access, since that is how you sign in and how we reach you about your purchases.
• Keep your login to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and make any purchase.

4. Your Course Access

• When you buy a course, you get a personal, non-transferable license to watch its lessons and use its materials (videos, backing tracks, sheet music, and other downloads) for your own practice and learning.
• “Lifetime access” means you can return to a course you bought for as long as we offer it on the Site. If we ever stop offering a course, we will give you reasonable notice first.
• Please don’t share your account, resell or redistribute course materials, post lesson videos or downloads publicly, or try to get around the Site’s access controls. We may suspend or close accounts that do, without a refund.

5. Refunds

Every course comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. See our Refund Policy for how to ask for one.

6. Our Content

All lessons, videos, music, sheet music, and other materials on the Site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright. Except for the license in section 4, these terms don’t give you any rights to them.

7. No Guaranteed Results

We teach the way that has worked for our students, but how far you get depends on your own practice. We don’t promise any particular result. The Site is provided “as is,” and while we work to keep it running, we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Site, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the course in question. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be waived.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Changes apply to purchases made after the update.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, USA, except where the law of the country you live in gives you consumer protections that can’t be overridden.
